Christiana Kouta is a professor at the Department of Nursing at Cyprus University of Technology. She is the head of the master’s programme in advanced nursing and community health and care, and she is teaching, at graduate and undergraduate levels, community nursing/health, health promotion, transcultural nursing/health, and family nursing/health. Dr Kouta research and publications combine community and transcultural health in relation to culture and gender. She is currently participating in other EU-funded projects (e.g. IENE 9, Fem-UnitED). She is co-coordinating the European Observatory on Femicide. Dr Kouta is the vice president of the European Transcultural Nurses Association.
