This 2023 report by the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) is meant to provide a comparative analysis of five different countries and their legal responses to femicide. Data has been collected from Spain, Germany, France, Romania, and Portugal. Through a series of 109 interviews, literature reviews, and research, this report by the EIGE provides insight on further legal responses that can be implemented by the European Union (UN) to help solve the issue of femicide.
