Feminicidio.net analyzes the 2016 statistical data on gender violence in Catalonia from the Consejo General del Poder Judicial (CGPJ). They present maps and graphics with detailed overviews of data in each territory of the Spanish State. The purpose of this article is to provide a tool that makes it easier in each territory of the Spanish State to detect the successes and failures of the treatment of gender violence by the justice system. More specifically, this report focuses on the study of data on the judicial treatment of gender violence, taking into account its year-by-year evolution from 2010 to 2016. The report discusses gender-based violence reports to police, prevalence rates of complaints, waivers of the process, orders and protective measures, sentencing, and violations of restraining orders within Catalonia.
