As an autonomous body, the European Institute for Gender Equality plays a leading role in providing information and research on administrative data collection on violence against women across the European Union. The Institute is releasing a study in 2022 discussing the gaps between law and practice and providing recommendations to improve institutional responses to femicide cases.
